Don’t let them lie to you…

The magical shift from December 31st to January 1st. Somehow we wake up and are goals are shinier than ever, we are enamored by a clock striking 12:00, confetti in the air, angels singing in the background. For we are going to become… EVERYTHING, and preferably all at once.

But it’s still us.

It’s still the same person in 2024 fighting the battles to get to the shiny goal of 2025.

There is work required that you are going to need to do.

There are some tough days ahead, even if you can’t see them through the confetti or hear them through the angels.

I tell you this, not to discourage you, but to help you understand that the next 365 days have great potential but there will be sacrifice.

So when you are sitting with yourself and deciding what 2025 will bring to you, acknowledge that it’s you that will need resilience, consistency, discipline, and honesty to move that rock up the mountain.
